Assistant/Associate Professor in Educational Leadership and Policy Oshkosh
The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seeks a tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant or Associate level. The person in this position will teach primarily graduate courses in both on-campus and cohort settings throughout Wisconsin. In addition, this person is expected to maintain an active program of research and publication and provide service to the department, college, university, PK-12 community, and profession. In this role, the candidate is expected to promote the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of the University, the College of Education and Human Services, and the Educational Leadership and Policy Department. Additionally, this person will work collaboratively with the Department Chair and Graduate Program Coordinator for all matters involving the assigned course(s). The candidate will assume all responsibilities in specific courses as assigned (primarily Master's and Doctoral level courses in Educational Leadership and research methods). Courses will be focused on theoretical knowledge and practical skills required of school district administrators and leaders involved in higher education settings. Finally, the candidate is expected to facilitate a collegial relationship with course faculty/IAS, as well as assume responsibility and accountability to promote the quality of the Educational Leadership and Policy Program. This position also includes teaching in and working with Outreach programs.

Compliance & Training Specialist Oshkosh
The Compliance & Training Specialist assists the Director of Equal Opportunity, Equity and Affirmative Action in administering the Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action functions of the University. The incumbent will assist the Director in overseeing policies, processes, procedures, and training related to these areas and will work with the campus community to assist the Director in assuring compliance with EEO/AA regulations. This includes assisting the Director with implementing complaint procedures, including notification, investigation and disposition of complaints; providing educational materials and training for the campus community; conducting and/or coordinating investigations of complaints received pursuant to EEO/AA while ensuring a fair and neutral process for all parties.
Associate Dean of Students Oshkosh
Under the direction of the Associate Vice Chancellor & Dean of Students, the Associate Dean of Students is responsible for delivering services to students that promote academic and personal development, retention, and success. These services include providing direction and intervention for students, intervening with students with mental health concerns, coordinating services with other care resources on and off campus, administering the student code of conduct, working with University staff and faculty to resolve student problems, mediating and resolving conflict, and student referrals. This position also serves as Title IX Deputy for the institution. The Associate Dean will additionally help coordinate services for the student care team and Title IX.
Academic Department Associate Religious Studies & Anthropology Oshkosh
This is a paraprofessional position that provides administrative and clerical support to the Religious Studies and Anthropology Department. The Academic Department Associate reports directly to the Chair of the Religious Studies and Anthropology Department and oversees several key administrative functions in the support of the mission of the department, including: overall office coordination, producing and maintaining class scheduling, managing department budget and overall student employment activities.
Operations and Outreach Coordinator Oshkosh
The Operations and Outreach Coordinator provides complex paraprofessional support in office management, outreach activities and event planning, and program communication to the Environmental Research & Innovation Center (ERIC), Department of Engineering Technology (DET), and Digester Operations. The ERIC is a state of the art research and testing lab that offers a full range of laboratory testing capabilities and is connected to many other University programs, such as the Department of Engineering Technology (DET) and its allied programs. This position must provide exceptional customer service as a point of contact both internally and with the community providing client support, working with business leaders, and participating in activities to increase student enrollment. This position is also responsible for financial reconciliation of unit budgets. This position reports to both the ERIC Lab Manger and the Department of Engineering Technology Chair.
Sexual and Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator Oshkosh
This position is designed to provide a coordinated, institutional approach to the issue of sexual and interpersonal violence at UW Oshkosh. The position will serve as the lead on educational efforts pertaining to sexual and interpersonal violence including program development, intervention strategies, trainings, and assessment. Additionally, this position will meet individually with members of the UW Oshkosh community to provide advocacy, care, resources, and education.
Research Scientist Oshkosh
The ERIC is a state of the art research and testing lab that offers a full range of water and biosolids testing capabilities. The Research Scientist will support and oversee the laboratory students working at the Environmental Research and Innovation Center. The Research Scientist will also provide clients with project reports and manage client research and development projects. This positon reports to the Laboratory Manager at the Environmental Research and Innovation Center.
Assistant/Associate Professor of Literacy and Language Oshkosh
The Department of Literacy & Language at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seeks a tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant or Associate level. The person in this position will teach undergraduate courses on campus and graduate courses in the MSE-Literacy program both on campus and in cohorts throughout Wisconsin. In addition, this person is expected to maintain an active program of research and publication and provide service to the department, college, university, PK-12 community, and profession. The Department of Literacy & Language provides graduate programs leading to a master’s degree, licensure as a reading teacher and reading specialist, and a certificate in literacy coaching and provides undergraduate courses in literacy for all teacher preparation programs offered by the College of Education and Human Services. Faculty members in this department are committed to local, state, and national leadership in literacy and to a vision of literacy teaching and learning that is multimodal, constructivist, and equitable.
Maintenance Mechanic Oshkosh
This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of University buildings, HVAC equipment and cooling towers. Additional duties include maintenance of swimming pool, food service equipment, and laundry equipment. Must have or be able to obtain a valid WI driver’s license and be authorized to drive a University vehicle, upon appointment. This position will function as a member of the Facilities Management Maintenance team (plumbers, steamfitters, electricians, HVAC mechanics, and facilities maintenance specialists) providing customer service and relations to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh community. Employees are expected to be flexible in the performance of their job functions and to communicate openly with supervisors and co-workers, other departments, and University staff. This position may occasionally be asked to work hours in excess of the normal shift (7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday) and after-hour call-ins.
Facilities Repair Worker Oshkosh
As a member of the UW Oshkosh Facilities team and reporting to the Structural Shop Supervisor, this position is responsible for the maintenance of the interior and exterior of all the Campus buildings which includes sidewalks, roofs, windows, doors, floors, ceilings and building furnishings. This position at times will work independently and at other times with other team members on various assigned projects. Works assignments will include roof maintenance, welding, metal work, concrete flat work, paving brick repair, small remodel projects and fabrication. Work is assigned through the TMA work order system. The successful candidate must have or be able to obtain a valid WI driver’s license and be authorized by Risk Management to drive a University vehicle upon appointment. This position will function as a member of the Facilities Management Structural Maintenance team (Carpenters, Painters, Locksmith, and Facilities Repair Workers) providing customer service and relations to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh community. Employees are expected to be flexible in the performance of their job functions and to communicate openly with supervisors and co-workers, other departments and University staff. This position may occasionally be asked to work hours in excess of the normal shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday) on nights and weekends. Must pass a pre-work screen to ensure the ability to perform essential physical functions of the position. This position will require a criminal background investigation.
University Services Program Assistant - College of Nursing Oshkosh

Program Assistant, Student Support Services and Student Support Services STEM Oshkosh
The Program Assistant will provide administrative support to the director and advisors of both the traditional Student Support Services (SSS) program and the Student Support Services STEM (SSS STEM) program. As one of the first points of contact with the program and the Division of Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence, the Assistant must possess excellent communication skills and contribute to creating a welcoming environment. Specific job responsibilities include: budget and office management, program communication, data and record management, and activity and event planning and implementation. The position reports directly to the SSS and SSS STEM director. The two UW Oshkosh SSS programs serve 420 first-generation, limited-income students annually. SSS and SSS STEM are TRIO programs funded through grants with the U.S. Department of Education.
Lead Custodian Oshkosh
The Custodian Lead reports to the Custodial Services Supervisor and is responsible for guiding custodial staff (permanent, temporary and student) in the performance of cleaning services, in addition to performing regular cleaning tasks. The incumbent must have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills when working with students, custodians, staff and supervisors; be physically able to perform custodial duties according to department standards; have the ability to assign and review work; have the ability to operate custodial cleaning equipment according to instructions; and follow all safety rules and report safety violations to a supervisor. The employee may come in contact with blood-borne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials. Must have or be able to obtain a valid WI driver’s license and be authorized by Risk Management to drive a University vehicle upon appointment; will drive a university fleet vehicle (van, passenger van or box truck) to deliver equipment and supplies; must successfully complete a pre-work screen to ensure the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
Graduate Student Services and Operations Specialist Oshkosh
As a member of the unique Office of Graduate Studies at UW Oshkosh, you'll be responsible for delivering services and providing support to prospective and current graduate students, graduate programs and staff, the admissions and records operations of the Graduate Studies Office, and assisting with the administrative and curricular activities of the Graduate Council.
Human Resources Specialist Oshkosh
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Vice Chancellor of Human Resources with an indirect reportage to the Provost and Vice Chancellor, this position performs a variety of human resource related activities for UW Oshkosh’s Human Resources Office. This position is responsible for conducting and preparing compensation studies such as FLSA reviews, market wage analysis, benchmarking, etc. This position must be knowledgeable on a wide variety of HR laws, policies and procedures covering employment including Wisconsin Statute, Administrative Code, UW System Personnel Guidelines, various UW Oshkosh policies and handbooks, as well as various federal and state employment laws. This position also manages the Renewal/Tenure, promotion, post-tenure review and performance management processes. This position will assist in investigations into complaints involving academic appointees, and provide feedback to management. Data reporting and analysis along with other miscellaneous Human Resources are also required. The position functions at a high level of independent judgement, superior written and verbal communication skills and ability to work under pressure to meet departmental demands.
Structural & Lockshop Supervisor Oshkosh
Reporting to the Director of Facilities Operations and Maintenance this position is responsible for the management of the structural maintenance department, campus wide building maintenance program, personnel management, budget, purchasing, health and safety. Responsibilities include campus wide repair to building envelops, roofs, exterior structures, grounds (concrete, masonry), carpentry, doors, windows, lock and key systems. This position must be able to work independently and function as a member of the Facilities Management Supervisory team providing employee and project supervision, customer service and relations to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh community. Employees are expected to be flexible in the performance of their job functions and to communicate openly with supervisors and co-workers, other departments and University staff. This position may occasionally be asked to work hours in excess of the normal shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday), after-hour call-ins during evening, weekend, or emergency situations and /or scheduled maintenance. Special requirements: Must have or be able to obtain a valid WI driver’s license and be authorized via Risk Management to drive a University vehicle upon appointment. Candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Wisconsin Asbestos Supervisor certification upon appointment or by the completion of the twelve-month probationary period. This position is required to complete the mandatory supervisory training program during the twelve month probationary period.
