Dean's Assistant Oshkosh Campus
The individual in this position provides administrative support to the Dean in the management of the Dean’s Office, Human Resource functions, external relations and governance committee activities related to the College of Nursing. This position reports to the Dean of the College of Nursing (CON). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ● Provide primary administrative support to the Dean and assist with general human resources duties. ● Responsible for screening and evaluating correspondence and reports; bringing important and urgent matters to the attention of the Dean; selectively providing information to University administrators, faculty, staff, students and the public regarding matters of a sensitive or confidential nature. ● Respond interpretatively to inquiries from faculty, students, administrators, and the public concerning departmental and university administrative policies and procedures.
Academic Retention Specialist (2 positions) Oshkosh Campus
The Academic Retention Specialist in the Multicultural Retention Programs serves as a student academic success counselor responsible for monitoring students’ academic progress, advise/counsel students on various academic subjects, plan and coordinate social/cultural programs and events and provide a structure of support to ease students’ transition into, and through the university during their entire academic career. This position will also design programs and activities to promote the academic success and retention of underserved and underrepresented students who self-identify as one or multiple of the following groups: African American/Black, Asian American, Southeast Asian, Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Chicano/a/Latino/a/x, and Native American/American Indian/Indigenous. The position will also foster student persistence/retention and develop programs, in conjunction with instructional and student development units, that will help ensure the academic and social success of at-risk populations.
Police Sergeant (2 Positions) Oshkosh Campus
The UW Oshkosh Police Sergeant is responsible for all aspects involved in the supervision of patrol officers and/or security personnel (including student Community Service Officers) assigned to a shift, work unit, or special event. The Police Sergeant also participates in, and oversees the activities of officers and student employees, plans training, evaluates performance, creates schedules, approves payroll, and oversees the overall operations of the student employee program. The Police Sergeant must frequently perform the same tasks as subordinates. During the University’s non-business hours, the Police Sergeant is often the highest ranking law enforcement official on campus and may be required to make decisions for the University that are only vaguely related to law enforcement. The Police Sergeant is under the general supervision of the Police Lieutenant.

Lecturer and Scenic Designer Oshkosh Campus
The Theatre Department of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Oshkosh campus seeks a Lecturer and Scenic Designer for an academic program with a production season of four main stage productions plus student projects. This full time, fixed-term terminal, academic year position’s responsibilities are split between teaching courses for the department and scenic design and painting for productions as part of an undergraduate liberal arts BA/BS theatre program.
Administrative Assistant III Oshkosh Campus
The Student Recreation and Wellness Administrative Assistant provides specialized administrative support for the Department of Student Recreation and Wellness. This position reports to the Director of Student Recreation performing a combination of complex duties in support of critical administrative functions (including but not limited to communication and fiscal operations). This individual independently provides financial management of financial data for all areas of the unit’s operations to include: expenditure analyses, interpretation and application of all related rules/regulations/policies, departmental equipment rental, intramural entries, sport club accounts, facility rentals, memberships and foundation revenues. This individual supports budgetary decision making and planning by the Director. The administrative assistant also provides leadership and support for the Student Recreation and Wellness Center Welcome Desk Staff as well as student employee on boarding and hiring processes.
Coordinator of Indigenous Student Support & Wellness Oshkosh Campus
The Coordinator of Indigenous Student Support & Wellness reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) of the Division of Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence (ASIE) and Chief Diversity Officer (CDO). This position's primary purpose is to support Indigenous students (Indigenous to the Americas, but particularly Wisconsin) at UW Oshkosh through the provisions of academic support, cultural consultation, outreach, programming, and advocacy. A thorough and nuanced understanding must inform this work focused on the Indigenous students' unique lived experiences, particularly in white-dominated institutional spaces. Understanding the impact of racial trauma, anti-Indigeneity, Indigenous identity development including Two-Spirit and intersecting identities, intergenerational trauma, and settler colonialism, will be critical to success in this position. Additionally, the position will provide personal, cultural, academic, and financial aid advisement to Indigenous students. The position will provide Indigenous students with outreach to tribal higher education programs to enhance support, coordinate tutoring and study groups with the Center for Academic Resources (CAR) and serve as an advocate and liaison with university staff and faculty. This position will create and maintain an advisory council and communication network at UWO that reviews Indigenous students' needs while maintaining collaboration to enhance support services, including traveling time to off-campus locations. Further, this position will evaluate retention services and provide leadership regarding Indigenous students' status to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence and Chief Diversity Officer.
Immigration Compliance Coordinator Oshkosh, Fox Cities, and Fond du Lac Campuses
The Office of International Education is hiring a full-time Immigration Compliance Coordinator to perform all duties as required of a Designated School Official (DSO) and as an Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) and to lead or assist in visa application processing for study abroad students.
Operations and Outreach Coordinator Oshkosh Campus
The Operations and Outreach Coordinator provides complex paraprofessional support in office management, outreach activities and event planning, and program communication to the Environmental Research & Innovation Center (ERIC) and the Department of Engineering and Engineering Technology (DEET). The ERIC is a state-of-the-art research and testing lab that offers a full range of laboratory testing capabilities and is connected to many other University programs, such as the Department of Engineering and Engineering Technology (DEET) and its allied programs. This position must provide exceptional customer service to external constituents while remaining responsive to on-campus needs. The position acts as a primary point of contact for both internal campus members and external clients and community partners. This includes outreach activities with potential students and families, providing client support, working with business leaders, and participating in activities to increase student enrollment. This position is also responsible for financial reconciliation of unit budgets. This position reports to both the ERIC Lab Manager and the Department of Engineering and Engineering Technology Chair.
Associate Dean - College of Education & Human Services (Internal Search) Oshkosh Campus
The Associate Dean’s responsibilities derive from delegation by the college Dean and in some instances by the by-laws of the college. In general, the Associate Dean assumes assigned duties to further the mission and operation of the college, the faculty and staff and support student interests.
Director, Center for Customized Research & Services and Economic Development Oshkosh Campus
This position is primarily responsible for leadership, coordination and support to a wide variety of activities, projects, and tasks related to the daily and strategic operations of the Center for Customized Research and Services (CCRS). It is also responsible for the development, execution, and delivery of research and consulting projects for internal and external customers for CCRS. Finally, the position broadly supports economic development activities, including grant development and project execution and cultivation and maintenance of relationships with local, regional, state and national economic development partners.
Front Desk Manager Oshkosh Campus
The successful candidate will be a member of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh undergraduate Admissions team. This position assists with processing new student applications, coordinates and manages the office reception area, schedules on-campus visits, maintains exceptional customer service for all guests and utilizes technology to track student records and maintain data. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
