Study Abroad/Away Program Manager Oshkosh Campus
The Office of International Education is hiring a Program Manager to develop and implement group study abroad/away programming.
Laboratory Manager Oshkosh Campus
The Medical Laboratory Manager oversees all laboratory operations for the Student Health Center and provides a wide variety of standard laboratory tests. This position requires independence, expertise in laboratory science and a commitment to maintaining certification standards and following governmental regulations which apply to laboratory practice. In partnership with the Medical Director of Student Health Services, this position operates the clinical laboratory in the Student Health Center and facilitates the effective delivery of medical laboratory services for clinicians and all health center patients as defined for testing personnel under CLIA. Responsibilities include: obtain laboratory specimens; conduct a variety of laboratory tests and document results accurately and appropriately; perform quality control on test procedures and equipment, and maintain equipment. The laboratory manager is responsible for the overall operational efficiency of the clinical laboratory. Operational duties include: Cross train clinical staff on CLIA waived testing, evaluate and document the competency testing of all testing personnel, maintain Procedure and Quality Assurance Manuals; maintain laboratory inventory; evaluate and recommend appropriate testing methods; maintain Proficiency Tests and CLIA certification. These duties are in addition to the technical responsibilities. The laboratory manager works closely with the laboratory medical director (MD). The laboratory manager will take an active leadership role with AAAHC chapter standards as assigned, student programming, orientation for freshman students, and providing guest lectures and public speaking for outreach events, as a university employee within the division of student affairs. Additional duties include training for cross-coverage for clinical operations to include patient rooming, scheduling duties, etc.
Procurement Director Oshkosh Campus
Reporting directly to the University’s Controller, the incumbent in this position is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of all UW - Oshkosh procurement functions including Purchasing, Procurement Card, and Asset Management Programs. This position holds delegation authority from the University of Wisconsin System Adminisration.The incumbent supervises two Purchasing Agents and several part-time student employees. The incumbent will also serve as back-up to other Division staff members as requested by the Controller during peak workload periods and staff members’ extended absences from the Division. The primary duties of this positions require independent judgement and discretion. This position will interact with UW - Oshkosh institutional customers, state agency customers and suppliers
Director, Student Support Services Oshkosh Campus
The UW Oshkosh Division of Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence is looking for a dynamic candidate responsible for the Student Support Services (SSS) program and Student Support Services STEM (SSS STEM) program and the supervision of department personnel. An individual in this role must possess professional experience working with students who are first-generation and/or who come from limited-income families. The individual must display strong communication, collaboration, leadership, management, grant writing and management skills. Expertise in assessment methods and data analysis and preparation of reports is required. This position functions with a high level of program budget development and management in accordance with institutional and funding source regulations, policies, and procedures.
Assistant Professor of Mathematics Oshkosh Campus
The Mathematics Department at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for a tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant Professor level, to start September 1, 2021. Successful candidates will teach general education mathematics and statistics courses and upper-level courses in statistics, and take leading roles in the department's curriculum development efforts in the area of data science. In addition, they will maintain active programs of scholarly research and publication in statistics, data science, or a related field, and provide service to the department, college, university, and the profession.
Financial Specialist Oshkosh Campus
Under general supervision of the Controller the incumbent in this position performs Accounts Payable duties within the Financial Services unit of the Division of Administrative Services. This position is responsible for pre-auditing and processing for payment, accounts payable documentation related to direct payment requests, payment to individual reports, speaker and entertainment contracts, purchase orders, and meal requisitions. The incumbent participates in the maintenance automated financial record keeping systems. The incumbent is responsible for responding to inquiries from University administrators, faculty and staff members, and from external stakeholders, responses that require knowledge of the financial and administrative procedures and policies of the University, UW System, State and Federal agencies. The incumbent may provide department staff training, and also trains limited term employees, project appointments and student employees. The incumbent reports directly to the Controller.
Costume Technology Supervisor Oshkosh Campus
Directs the planning, operation, and supervision of the costume shop including the cutting and construction of costumes for all productions and/or supervision of costume shop personnel; and supervises alterations, purchasing, and rentals of costumes for each production and assists with technical and dress rehearsals.
Financial Specialist Oshkosh Campus
Under the supervision of the Bursar, the incumbent is responsible for University cashiering including student and departmental payments and deposits. The Financial Specialist is responsible to accurately apply approximately $134 million in revenue per year to the proper accounts in the ledger reconciling to the bank activity. The position manages 1 to 2 student cashiers and provides front line customer service in-person for Student Financial Services.
Program Assistant-Nurse Anesthetist Program Oshkosh Campus
This full time, continuous position reports to the Post-licensure Program Director within the College of Nursing (CON). The incumbent will have daily contact with prospective and current students, university services staff, faculty, academic staff, and administrators. An individual in this role must be self-motivated, have working knowledge of college and university policies and procedures, display professional communication skills, dress, manner, and function independently with little or no supervision. This position functions with a high level of confidentiality.
Student Services Advisor Fond du Lac Campus
The Student Services Coordinator is located in the Student Affairs Office on the Fond du Lac Campus and is a strategic member of the Solution Center, responsible for providing professional academic and career advising to new and continuing students with additional direct responsibilities in the areas of financial aid, student accessibility, recruitment and retention.
Medical Program Assistant Oshkosh Campus
The person in this position serves as a key support for the health care team and works in collaboration with the staff providing administrative/clerical duties. Must commit to a flexible work schedule which will include some evening hours through the academic year and possible weekend hours.
Enrollment Counselor Oshkosh, Fox Cities, and Fond du Lac Campuses
The successful candidate will be a member of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh enrollment management team. The counselor will serve as a University ambassador and liaison with prospective students, parents/families, high school staff and other community members throughout the state and region. A focus of this position will be to provide prospective students with seamless and positive enrollment experience.
Academic Department Associate Oshkosh Campus
This position serves as primary administrative and program support for the Chair and Associate Chair of the English Department, and assists the Director of Master of Arts Program as necessary. Title IX Coordinator Oshkosh Campus
University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (UWO) seeks a dynamic candidate to serve as the Title IX Coordinator. Functioning as an oversight and monitoring role, this position serves to ensure institutional compliance through policy research, development, and management of an array of applicable legal, regulatory, and accreditation-related obligations including federal and state discrimination mandates and sexual harassment laws. Oversees all Title IX complaints in accordance with Title IX regulations. Identifies and addresses any systemic problems relating to complaints, provides campus training regarding Title IX and works with other departments to ensure Title IX policies are communicated to all constituencies. Collaborates with stakeholders across the University offices to ensure institutional compliance. The duties of the Title IX Coordinator will be guided by the principles of trauma-informed care. Outreach Specialist Oshkosh Campus
This position works in cooperation with state, partner agencies, and other contracted employees to develop and deliver training materials which educate and train W-2 workers and partner agencies about W-2 programs, policies, and procedures. This position is responsible for training program development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation. This position requires frequent travel throughout the State of Wisconsin. The office location is in Wisconsin and the person in this position will work from a home office or a from an office located at UW Oshkosh on the Oshkosh campus.
