This full-time position involves performing and managing activities related to a parasite life cycle involving mosquitoes and rodents for the NIH/NIAID Filariasis Research Reagent Resource Center (FR3) (www.filariasiscenter.org).
Heating/Cooling Plant Operator In Charge Oshkosh Campus
In charge of operating and maintaining plant equipment. In charge of personnel as a shift lead worker. Schedules and performs equipment maintenance. Performs as plant lead worker as assigned. Must pass a pre-work screen to ensure the ability to perform essential physical functions of the position. This position is part of a 24/7 plant coverage and may be assigned to various shifts, including a rotating schedule that includes day, nights, afternoons, and most weekends and holidays.
Heating/Cooling Plant Operator II (2 positions) Oshkosh Campus
Monitors, operates, adjusts, maintains, and repairs a variety of technical equipment for the campus Heating and Cooling plants to supply the campus with critical services. Must pass a pre-work screen to ensure the ability to perform essential physical functions of the position. This position is part of the 24/7 plant coverage and may be assigned to various shifts, including a rotating schedule that includes day, nights, afternoons, and most weekends and holidays.
Academic Coach Oshkosh Campus
The Academic Coach reports directly to the Director of TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) and SSS STEM and participates in recruiting, identifying, recommending and enrolling eligible students in the program; provides academic, career and life skills coaching to students in case-management format; monitors the academic progress of students and identifies support resources as needed; facilitates student retention by assisting with academic and non-academic goal setting, by providing self-improvement workshops and career guidance; assists students in completing graduate applications, financial aid and scholarship applications. The Academic Coach must also maintain current and accurate program files and meet other requirements for compliance with federal regulations and college policies. During the academic year, evening hours on a weekly basis may be required. Evening hours in the summer and weekend hours during both the academic year and summer on an occasional basis are required.
Assistant or Associate Professor Oshkosh Campus
The Department of Counseling and Human Services at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seeks a tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant/Associate Professor level.
