Administrative Specialist

Reporting to the Divisional Business Officer of Academic Affairs, the Unit Business Officer serves at the college or administrative unit level. The position completes a variety of financial management, budget development, and human resources functions for the college or unit. The position works closely with the Dean in service to the college to support strategic initiatives and provide routine financial analyses and budget status reports. This position will be assigned to the College of Nursing, Health Professions, and STEM. Unit Business Officers, while reporting through Finance & Administration, are integral embedded members of their assigned college/unit.

Financial Specialist III

Under general supervision of the Controller, the incumbent in this position performs Accounts Payable duties within the Financial Services unit of the Division of Administrative Services. This position is responsible for: pre-auditing and processing payment, accounts payable documentation related to direct payment requests, payment to individual reports, speaker and entertainment contracts, purchase orders, and meal requisitions. The incumbent participates in the maintenance automated financial record keeping systems.
