Administrative Assistant II Oshkosh Campus
This position provides comprehensive administrative support to the Department of Philosophy and the College of Letters and Science at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the faculty, staff, and students and managing office activities in support of the department. Possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills, exceptional organizational skills, good time management skills and being detail-oriented are characteristics critical to the success of the individual employed in this position. This position reports directly to the Department Chair.
Director of Student Outreach and Retention Oshkosh Campus
Oversees the daily management of programs, services, activities, facilities, policies and/or processes in order to support student-centered experience related to enrollment and retention in the Division of Student Affairs and works collaboratively with units outside of the Division of Student Affairs such as, but not limited to, Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence, Curricular Affairs and Student Academic Achievement, University Studies Program, and others. Student Processing Specialist (Internal Search) Oshkosh Campus
Interacts with students as they matriculate by providing a variety of administrative support and coordination for student process including admissions, registration, financial aid, academic progress, graduation, international education, and course scheduling. Director of Reading and Study Skills Center (Internal Search) Oshkosh Campus
Reporting to the Dean of the College of Education and Human Services, this position requires a team-oriented individual who exercises discretion, independent judgment in decision-making, and is responsible for taking initiative in achieving the goals of the Reading and Study Skills Center. This position is responsible for several key administrative and academic functions including (1) developing and managing educational programs, curriculum, and instruction, (2) overseeing and engaging in activities to promote student retention, (3) marketing course offerings and increasing student enrollment, (4) managing program evaluation data, (5) managing support staff, and (6) overseeing budgetary functions of the program. The director shall coordinate all matters related to the Reading and Study Skills Center.
Lecturer Oshkosh Campus
The Mathematics Department at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus is looking to hire three academic staff for the spring 2022 semester with the possibility of rehire for the next academic year. This is a lecturer position, teaching undergraduate math courses at the Oshkosh campus.
Retention Data Analyst Oshkosh Campus
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for a Student Success and Retention Data Specialist in Enrollment Management. The specialist will research, coordinate, and support retention initiatives. They will also be primarily responsible for student success data management and analysis operations with the goal of increasing retention rates and completion rates of the institution's undergraduate students. They will work collaboratively with Enrollment Management team members, as well as, Institutional Research, IT, Registrar, Deans, Department Chairs, academic advising, tutoring, and other student support units to design proactive interventions for students who do not meet established benchmarks. The specialist will also assist with the withdrawal/transfer data collection. The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to provide vision and initiative within areas of responsibility and work effectively with administrators, faculty, staff, and students.
Academic Advising Assistant Director (Internal Search) Oshkosh Campus
The Assistant Director provides expert academic advising to undergraduate students in the Undergraduate Advising Resource Center (UARC). In addition, the Assistant Director has primary responsibility for a programmatic area, supervises the advising team in his/her area, facilitates advising relationships and serves as a conduit of academic information between one or more Colleges and the UARC.
Program Assistant - Nursing Undergraduate Oshkosh Campus
This position reports to the CON Pre-Licensure Program Director and works closely with the Program Director, Assistant Director(s), Advisor(s), Clinical Placement Coordinator(s), and Level Facilitators in the Pre-Licensure Program. In addition, has daily contact with prospective and current students, university services staff, faculty, academic staff, and administrators. An individual in this role must be self-motivated, have working knowledge of college and university policies and procedures, display professional communication skills, and function independently with little or no supervision. An ideal candidate will also maximize the use of computer technologies while performing tasks. The individual in this position must be able to provide exceptional customer service, balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment, and be prepared to assist faculty, staff, or stakeholders in times of immediate need. This position functions with a high level of confidentiality.
Athletics Assistant Director Oshkosh Campus
The incumbent will report to Assistant Chancellor of Intercollegiate Athletics. This position requires understanding of Division III Philosophy and proficiency in Eligibility and Compliance for DIII. The incumbent will oversee daily operations of selected sports programs and the coordination of various administrative functions within areas of responsibility.
Project Manager Oshkosh Campus
The Project Manager (PM) manages the assigned projects with planning, design, and management expertise as required. The PM is the primary contact between AVCEM and internal and external stakeholders as assigned. The PM is responsible for the professional and equitable application and enforcement of the University's policy and procedures. The PM will plan, allocate resources, and review performance data to monitor and measure productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness.
Police Officer (3 positions) Oshkosh, Fox Cities, and Fond du Lac Campuses
Under the general supervision of a sergeant, lieutenant, captain and chief, the Police Officer position on the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus serves 13,000 students, approximately 1400 employees, encompassing 58 buildings on more than 184 acres. Police Officers exercise full statutory arrest authority and are responsible for the enforcement of state laws, rules and regulations pertaining to the protection of life and property, and related protective services for the University community. The standard work hours encompass a 10 hour rotating shift assignment on one of the following shifts: 8:00 am to 6:00pm, 6:00 pm to 4:00 a.m., and 10:00 pm to 8:00 a.m. Other shifts may become available depending on staffing levels.

Financial Aid Officer positions work with students, parents, staff, and the community to provide quality customer service to all who seek the services of the Financial Aid Office.  Financial aid positions require strong communicators who are team players willing and able to keep informed of the changes in Federal Student Aid and Wisconsin state aid regulations.  This position will carry out responsibilities while at the UW Oshkosh and UW Fox Cities campuses and occasionally at special events at other locations as needed.  The individual in this position will provide financial aid counseling to support the financial needs for students at each of these campuses, as part of the recruitment and retention process.

The Department of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology who will make a strong contribution to our undergraduate and graduate programs, starting September 1, 2022. The Department offers an undergraduate major/minor in psychology and terminal Master's Degree Program in Psychology (Cognitive and Affective emphasis). Candidates should be prepared to teach Introductory Psychology, Statistics, and Research Methods, as well as undergraduate and graduate level courses within their field of expertise. Excellent teaching skills, the ability to develop and maintain an active program of research and to work collaboratively with students and colleagues are also valued among candidates. All faculty in the Department are expected to advise undergraduate majors and supervise graduate student theses.
