Position Summary:

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Business invites applications for multiple full-time tenure-track assistant, associate or full professor faculty positions in Information Systems. These positions will begin in August 2024. Programs in the Information Systems discipline are AACSB accredited and include a Master of Science in Information Technology Management, postgraduate analytics certificates, and undergraduate majors in Information Systems and Applied Computing. Information Systems faculty are an integral component of the newly formed School of Informatics which embraces the art, science, and business of digital information in all its business informatics analysis and management aspects: procurement, processing, protection, presentation, and promotion. The School of Informatics is also actively engaged in the region through the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Digital Marketing Clinic.

Information Systems faculty partner with other disciplines across the college and campus to offer innovative interdisciplinary business and informatics curriculum and corporate educational programs. Responsibilities

Teach a range of courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Play an active role in department, college and university service opportunities, and industry engagement activities.

Qualifications  
Required:

An earned doctorate from a recognized and accredited institution (AACSB, ABET, or commensurate accreditation) in business or information technology fields. (ABDs will be considered. Official transcripts showing conferment will be required prior to starting employment.)

Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Preferred:

Two or more years of teaching experience, or a combination of relevant Information Systems industry and teaching experience.

Teaching or research experience in one of the following areas:  data management/analytics, software and intelligent systems/AI application development, or networking/cybersecurity.

The demonstrated capacity to collaborate with individuals in other academic fields, local businesses, or community stakeholders to make our programs more innovative and integrated with the regional ecosystem.
