Construction Project Manager Oshkosh Campus
Oversees a building project from start to finish. Performs day-to-day construction phase management. Promotes completion of non-capital and capital projects by developing, monitoring, and managing project requirements. Reports to and receives guidance from construction leadership.
Admissions Director Oshkosh Campus
The Director of Admissions will lead UWO’s recruitment and enrollment efforts including but not limited to: recruitment marketing and communications, recruitment operations, application processing, application generation, yield work, campus visits and pre-college outreach to ensure that UWO’s enrollment thrives into the future.
IT Business Analyst II Oshkosh Campus

Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice Oshkosh Campus
The Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor (beginning September 2024) for individuals with a particular interest in teaching courses in the following areas: criminal law and/or policing. Ability to teach courses on campus and online (asynchronous) is desirable (the CJ Department offers both an on campus CJ Major and an online CJ Major). The ability to teach courses involving historically marginalized members of society as it relates to criminal justice is also desirable. Police Officer - Open Pool 5/3/2024 - 9/30/2024 Oshkosh Campus
The UW Oshkosh Police Department is searching for a motivated and customer oriented individual to fill vacant Police Officer positions and Temporary Employment opportunities as they arise! The Police Officer position is a sworn law enforcement position (State of WI, LESB certified) responsible for providing a full range of law enforcement services: enforce laws, investigate complaints, investigate incidents which may have an impact on the University, maintain order, assist people, identify criminal activity, apprehend and arrest offenders, identify the source of problems in the community and work with the community to resolve issues. Police Officers are expected to embrace community policing philosophies, engage and partner with the community, analyze data and problem solve for the purpose of crime prevention. Officers are also expected to have the ability to conduct complex investigations, take photographs, collect physical evidence; prepare complete written reports of all investigations and testify regarding those reports. Police Officers must at all times support the department's mission, providing essential law enforcement functions, respecting the rights and dignity of all individuals, deal ethically with the public, valuing trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, justice, fairness, caring, civic virtue and citizenship; having character, pride and professionalism.
Shipping and Mail Coordinator Oshkosh Campus
Coordinates and executes shipping and mail services for a unit including inventory management and distribution, mail and package receipt and delivery, and shipping and/or delivery of packages. Must pass a pre-work screen to ensure the ability to perform essential physical functions of the position. Must have a valid WI driver’s license and be authorized to drive a University vehicle upon appointment. This position will require a criminal background investigation.
Academic Program Director (B) Oshkosh and Fox Cities Campuses
This position provides leadership, development, operational management, and academic oversight for the Cooperative Academic Partnership Program (CAPP) and reports directly to the Dean of COLS. Working independently administering and managing CAPP daily activities, and as part of a team in the CAPP Office, this position sets priorities, balances various responsibilities, and interacts with on and off campus constituents, requiring excellent communication and customer service skills.
Laboratory Manager Oshkosh Campus
The Laboratory Manager position reports to the Associate Director at the Environmental Research and Innovation Center (ERIC). The ERIC is a state-of-the-art research and testing lab that offers a full range of water, renewable energy, and compost testing capabilities. The Lab Manager will support and oversee the laboratory students working at the Environmental Research and Innovation Center. The Lab Manager will also provide clients with project reports and manage client research and development projects.
Recreation Coordinator for Competitive Sports Oshkosh Campus
Under the general supervision of the Associate Director, the Recreation Programs Coordinator provides leadership for dynamic and comprehensive Recreation Programs. A primary focus is on the Competitive Sports program, which includes Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs, to meet the needs and interests of the students and the campus community. In addition the Programs Coordinator provides leadership for group exercise classes and special events. The coordinator actively creates learning environments that empower student employees to create safe, inclusive and accessible recreational opportunities. The primary purpose of this position is to directly interact with students and enhance their academic learning experience outside of the classroom setting. Evening, weekend and holiday work is required.
Event Manager Oshkosh Campus
The Event Manager reports to the Director of University Event & Conference Services. This position is responsible for the management and oversight of day-to-day building procedures and operations of the Culver Family Welcome Center. In addition, this position is responsible for the oversight of University Event Coordinator staff. This position manages internal and external Culver Family Welcome Center customer interaction and tenant needs. Responsibilities include supervision of student staff, budget development and administration, in-site/in-room operations and technical support and guidance. The event manager is also responsible for day-to-day communication with user groups in the facility and serves as the liaison with campus catering, custodial services and facilities management for work orders and problem solving. The Event Manager is also responsible for oversite of University Event Coordinator staff and event activity. Event management includes planning and logistics, schedules and timelines and providing onsite event coordination. The position is full-time, responsible for the needs of the operation and will require a flexible schedule that requires occasional evenings and weekends.
Event Coordinator Oshkosh Campus
The Event Coordinator reports to the Event Manager of University Event & Conference Services. The Event Coordinator will be the lead coordinator for the mid-year and spring commencement ceremonies, University Convocation and Opening Day award ceremony. Coordinating tasks include planning and logistics, schedules and timelines, hiring and management of employees, volunteers and event participants and providing onsite event coordination. The Event Coordinator will assist in other University wide special event activities as assigned. The position is full-time and will require a flexible schedule that requires occasional evenings and weekends.
Police Dispatcher - Night Shift Oshkosh Campus
The UWOPD Dispatcher position evaluates and acts upon information and knowledge regarding safety, law enforcement and the University in general. This position is responsible for communication via radio, Mobile Data Computer (MDC) terminal, telephone, written correspondence, computer programs and chatting and in-person conversation & customer service. This position coordinates emergency and non-emergency communication between the UW Oshkosh Police Department and other campus departments, law enforcement agencies, fire departments, emergency medical units and other agencies. This position is also responsible for monitoring alarm panels, numerous radio frequencies, and acts as the after-hours emergency contact for the campus community. In addition, the position is responsible for maintaining the computerized police record keeping system, ensuring accuracy in all entries, providing dispatch training to all dispatchers and officers, and ensuring security measures are being met with regards to confidential information and record retention.
Enrollment Management and Student Success Manager Oshkosh Campus
The EMSS Manager serves as the team lead facilitator for the EMSS division in its use of technology and other such tools to improve processes to ensure the division meets its goals related to recruitment and retention of students. This person will collaborate across the unit and the campus to analyze, interpret, and present data to inform projects and initiatives that will improve enrollment and student success. This position will focus on leveraging and integrating technology tools such as Salesforce, Navigate, Granular, and ATP to ensure we have data to drive strategy and campus adopts and utilizes technology tools to improve student outcomes. This position will support the Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Marketing (AVCEMM) in planning, goal setting, prioritization, and assessment of enrollment and student success initiatives.
