Department of Residence Life Central Office Manager Oshkosh Campus
Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Resident Life, Housing Operations, the Central Office Manager for the Department of Residence Life at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is responsible for the supervision and oversight of all activities related to the department’s central office. This position also performs or assists with special duties and projects throughout the year and during the summer as needed. The qualified candidate will work both independently and as a team member to ensure a wide range of deadlines are met. Strong communication, organization, and priority serves as a department and campus resource. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hours may be adjusted during academic break periods. Additional hours will be required during Labor Day weekend and may also be required for opening of Spring semester.
Computer Print Technician Oshkosh Campus
This position is split between the departments of Document Services and Postal Services, and reports to the Manager of Postal & Document Services. The position is responsible for operating various printers, printing equipment, and print finishing machinery, as well as, serving as backup to office operations in Postal Services. This includes sorting and processing mail, and running an envelope inserter and tabber. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount in this position. This position functions under general supervision, having greater independence of action, procedural control over assigned duties and the responsibility for problem solving decisions.
Lead Custodian Oshkosh Campus
The Custodian Lead reports to the Custodial Services Supervisor and is responsible for guiding custodial staff (permanent, temporary and student) in the performance of cleaning services, in addition to performing regular cleaning tasks. The incumbent must have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills when working with students, custodians, staff and supervisors; be physically able to perform custodial duties according to department standards; have the ability to assign and review work; have the ability to operate custodial cleaning equipment according to instructions; and follow all safety rules and report safety violations to a supervisor. The employee may come in contact with blood-borne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials. Must have a valid WI driver’s license and be authorized to drive a University vehicle upon appointment; will drive a university fleet vehicle (van, passenger van or box truck) to deliver equipment and supplies; must successfully complete a pre-work screen to ensure the ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Hours of work are Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm and every other weekend
Assistant Director of Bands and Director of UWO Marching Band Oshkosh Campus
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seeks qualified, outgoing, dynamic candidates for the position of Assistant Director of Bands. The successful candidate will be responsible for the conception and creation of a brand-new marching band on the UW Oshkosh campus. Based on a renewable contract, this full-time academic position will be held in the department of music. In addition to marching band, other athletic bands may be created as part of the teaching load. Additional courses will be assigned based on the experience and expertise of the candidate, and may include ensemble conducting, music education, general music, and/or applied lessons. The primary duties during the first year of employment will focus on recruiting and developing the athletic band program, leading to an official debut of the marching band in the Fall semester of 2022. The successful candidate will actively work to build a rapport with local high school directors, recruit students to the program, and engage in various outreach activities. The position will include the administration of the marching band program, budget management, equipment and logistics, show/drill design and arranging.
Student Support Services TRIO Academic Advisor Oshkosh Campus
Serve as the Academic Advisor to a caseload of approximately 80 students who are members of the UW Oshkosh Student Support Services (SSS) program. The SSS program serves 300 UW Oshkosh students annually. SSS students are first-generation college (parents have not earned a baccalaureate degree) students and/or students whose family income meets federally established guidelines. Students with a documented disability may also be served by the program. The goal of SSS is to increase the college persistence and graduation rates of the students it serves. SSS is one of the U.S. Department of Education funded TRIO programs.
Inventory Control Coordinator Oshkosh Campus
Under general supervision of the Director, determines inventory levels, places orders and determine selling price for materials for resale in the General Merchandise Department to include all supply, electronic and gift items. Inspect and receive all materials for resale into the POS system, making any necessary pricing adjustments and shelving merchandise. Maintains appropriate inventory levels and replenish as needed based on seasonal needs. Work with vendors to purchase new products and staying up to date on industry trends. Train and direct student employees as needed. Perform other duties assigned by the Director.

Assistant Professor of Chemistry Fond du Lac Campus
The Department of Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seeks a tenure track Assistant Professor to be based at our Fond du Lac campus beginning September 1, 2021. A successful candidate will teach undergraduate general chemistry, non-major and pre-nursing chemistry, and associated labs and discussion sections, as well as manage the chemical stockroom and ensure safety. Under the direction of the simulation director/manager/coordinator, the Instrumentation Specialist will provide technical and mechanical support for the College of Nursing simulation center and or labs. This position is a 12-month, full-time position, which maintains a dotted line report with campus Information Technology to ensure close communication and coordination.
Associate Administrative Specialist Oshkosh Campus
Summary: This position reports directly to the Assistant Chancellor, Athletics to provide comprehensive support for the Intercollegiate Athletic department staff. This person will serve as a first point of contact for the Athletic Department and must possess good communication skills, both oral and written to interact with staff, students, and guests. This person must have the ability to successfully interact with internal and external agencies involving a variety of diverse individuals and manage details related to the WIAC and NCAA rules. This position includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgement with matters related to student workforce acquisition and administrative support.
Director, University Books & More Oshkosh, Fox Cities, and Fond du Lac Campuses
UW Oshkosh is searching for the Director of University Books & More. This position serves as the Director of University Books & More and the Corner Convenience Store which combined generate a total revenue of approximately $5 to $6 million annually. Starting in July, 2021, this position will also be the Director of the two bookstores on the Fox Cities and Fond du Lac campuses.

Assistant Professor of Psychology Fond du Lac Campus

Maintenance Mechanic Oshkosh Campus
This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of University buildings, HVAC equipment and cooling towers. Additional duties include maintenance of swimming pool, food service equipment, and laundry equipment. Must have or be able to obtain a valid WI driver’s license and be authorized to drive a University vehicle, upon appointment. This position will function as a member of the Facilities Management Maintenance team (plumbers, steamfitters, electricians, HVAC mechanics, and facilities maintenance specialists) providing customer service and relations to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh community. Employees are expected to be flexible in the performance of their job functions and to communicate openly with supervisors and co-workers, other departments, and University staff. This position may occasionally be asked to work hours in excess of the normal shift (7:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday) and after-hour call-ins. Must pass a pre-work screen to ensure the ability to perform essential physical functions of the position.
Power Plant Operator - Senior/Relief/Maintenance Oshkosh Campus
This position’s primary responsibility is to assist in the daily maintenance of the boilers and chillers and their auxiliary equipment. Secondary responsibility is relief of Operator Seniors that are in “leave” status. In maintenance capacity, this position works in conjunction with the Power Plant Operator In-Charge in the minor and major plant maintenance as needed. While in relief of Operators on leave, this position is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of Heating/Chiller equipment, records management, plant safety and security.
