TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) STEM Academic Advisor Oshkosh Campus
Serve as an Academic Advisor to approximately 80 student members of the UW Oshkosh Student Support Services (SSS) STEM program. The program offers advising and academic support services for first-generation college students and students whose limited family income meets federally established assistance guidelines. Student Support Services (SSS) STEM is one of the U.S. Department of Education funded TRIO programs intended to provide opportunities for academic development, to assist students in achieving their educational goals, and to motivate students toward the successful completion of their postsecondary education.
Stockroom Manager Oshkosh Campus
The stockroom manager position in the Department of Biology is key to many aspects of the operation of the department. It will involve managing budgets, ordering supplies, inventory control, basic equipment maintenance, and oversight of the set-up and preparation of several lab courses. This will include supervision of graduate students hired to prepare labs, some set-up of labs, and coordination of ordering of supplies and equipment. The individual hired will have to have strong written and interpersonal skills as there will be interaction with faculty, staff, graduate students, and the other Biology staff. We have a very friendly and inclusive work environment.
Administrative Assistant Oshkosh Campus
The Administrative Assistant will provide direct office support to employees in the largest department within the Division of Student Affairs. This role works closely with everyone within Residence Life from the director to student staff. Reporting to the Associate Director for Residential Education, the Administrative Assistant will work closely with hiring and recruitment processes for both professional and student staff, provide general administrative support throughout the department and assist with the room assignment process as necessary.
Coordinator of Fitness Services Oshkosh Campus
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Programs the Coordinator of Fitness Services provides leadership for a dynamic and comprehensive fitness program which includes: group fitness, personal training, fitness/wellness programming, fitness assessments/screenings, weight room orientations, and special events. The coordinator actively creates learning environments that empower student employees to create safe, inclusive and accessible recreational opportunities. The primary purpose of this position is to directly interact with students and enhance their academic learning experience outside of the classroom setting. The position coordinates fitness programs/services, fitness staff scheduling, staff learning outcomes and assessment and evaluation of the fitness program. Evening, weekend and holiday work is required.
Medical Assistant Oshkosh Campus
Seeking highly motivated medical assistant to assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses in providing medical care to the student body at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Responsibilities include administrative, lab, and clinical tasks such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting providers with exams, performing appropriate lab collection and processing, and front-desk tasks. Commitment to a flexible work schedule which may include some evenings and/or weekends. Anticipated working hours include 7:45am-4:30pm Monday through Friday during the academic calendar with limited or no hours during scheduled academic breaks and summer.
System Administrator Oshkosh Campus
Designs, implements, and maintains infrastructure and/or moderately complex technical integrations across multiple systems, including in-house systems, acquired commercial, and external such as cloud hosted. Provides day-to-day maintenance and long term assistance to ensure subsystems and infrastructure function together and business needs are met.
Administrative Assistant II Oshkosh Campus
This Administrative Assistant II position is a .65 position in Testing Services, preferably working 6.5 hour days, 4 days a week. This position is responsible for coordinating the STN in Testing Services, which administers the GRE, Praxis and TOEFL (and eventually CLEP.) The Administrative Assistant II position requires the ability to make critical judgements and decisions related to high stakes test administration and test security. The STN Coordinator is a collaborative member of departmental team committed to providing excellent services while meeting internal and nationally recognized standards of quality.
Pathlore Registration Coordinator Oshkosh Campus
This full-time position, located in Oshkosh, requires entering data into a Learning Management System (LMS), performing registration management tasks, writing and sending LMS-related correspondence and reports, communicating with state-wide agency staff, assisting with web design and publishing, and helping to maintain and revise online courses. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, excellent critical thinking skills, attention to detail, the ability to work well in a team environment, and being a self-initiator. This position will be working on the UW Oshkosh campus. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Associate Vice Chancellor for Graduate Studies, Innovation and Research Oshkosh Campus
The Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) for Graduate Studies, Research, and Innovation will champion and advance graduate studies and research at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s (UWO) Fond du Lac, Fox Cities, and Oshkosh campuses. As an organizational innovator and change agent, the AVC for Graduate Studies, Research, and Innovation will provide visionary leadership for the Office of Graduate Studies and direct supervision for the Office of Student Research and Creative Activities (OSRCA), Faculty Development, the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), and the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL). The position will engage faculty and other stakeholders in advancing UWO’s state-of-the-art graduate programs, faculty and student research, scholarship, and creative activity, as well as faculty development and grant productivity. The AVC will provide leadership by developing new strategic directions and priorities, in alignment with the strategic goals and initiatives of the Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor and the University. By monitoring compliance with laws and regulations and building a culture of innovation, the AVC will move faculty creative and scholarly projects, research, and graduate education into more effective congruence with UWO’s status as a research-enhanced comprehensive institution within the University of Wisconsin (UW) System.
Student Success Navigator Oshkosh, Fox Cities, and Fond du Lac Campuses
The successful candidate will be a member of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh enrollment management team.  The position will serve as a university ambassador and liaison with prospective students, parents/families, and a main point of contact for students during their first year at UWO.  A focus of this position will be to provide prospective students with seamless and positive enrollment experience, in addition to facilitating proactive outreach and support to retain students at the university.

Network Engineer Level III Oshkosh, Fox Cities, and Fond du Lac Campuses
This position is in the Infrastructure team and reports to a team lead deploying and maintaining wired and wireless network infrastructure. Work assignments require knowledge of network technologies, operating systems, configurations and tools as well as understanding of network protocols. Evaluation and design skills are required for creating and maintaining a high-performing, stable, and secure wireless network infrastructure that will accommodate emerging technologies. Responsibilities for the individual in this position include planning, and implementation of network technologies. The systems include commodity and specialized hardware, software, and security systems. In addition, exceptional communication skills, both oral and written are essential, as the incumbent in this position must possess the ability to determine and understand institutional and user needs and to relate those needs in the form of network deployment, performance, or programming specifications. A majority of the position’s work can be completed remotely, but will require an on site presence at all facilities (in Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, and Fox Cities) as necessary. This individual works with only general guidance and supervision, demonstrating a high degree of mastery, reliably and consistently in a variety of complex situations. The individual must be able to synthesize multidimensional knowledge of a wide range of tools, protocols, and platforms; analyze and solve new and complex problems; and design solutions under general oversight. The person in this position will be expected to answer questions for others with less experience.
