||Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy

The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seeks a tenure-track faculty member at the assistant level. This person will teach, based on their expertise, a variety of graduate courses in educational leadership, policy, and PK-12 administration both on-campus and in off-campus cohort settings. In addition, this person is expected to maintain an active program of research and publication and provide service to the Department, College, University, PK-12 community, and profession. The Department is committed to equity, ethics, and social justice to bring about solutions to complex problems of practice.
This person will promote the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of the University, the College of Education and Human Services, and the Educational Leadership and Policy Department. They will teach educational leadership courses at the master’s and doctoral level in areas of their expertise. They will work to develop a record of scholarship and service to the University, the College of Education and Human Services, and the Department.
1. Earned doctorate in educational leadership, policy, PK-12 administration, or a closely related field (completed by September 1, 2020, the position start date).
2. Leadership experience in PK-12 education.
1. A minimum of three years of experience as an administrator in PK-12 education.
2. A record of scholarship and clear research agenda.
3. Experience teaching in a higher education setting.
4. Experience working with diverse populations.
5. Evidence of professional collaboration with colleagues.
6. Experience working with PK-12 or community partners.
