Position Summary:

The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics to begin September 2022. Candidates may be expected to teach undergraduate research methods classes (i.e., time series analysis or predictive analytics) on an annual basis.

Responsibilities

Teach a range of courses at the undergraduate and MBA levels. 

Publish scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals. 

Play an active role in department, college and university service opportunities.

Qualifications  
Required:

PhD in Economics (or expected by August 2022)

Strong background in applied quantitative methods

Ability to teach a range of courses at the undergraduate and MBA levels

Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Preferred:

Preference will be given to candidates whose research and teaching focus is in macroeconomics and who have two years of full-time instructional experience.
