TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) and SSS STEM Program Assistant Oshkosh Campus
The TRIO SSS and SSS STEM Program Assistant will provide administrative support to the director and advisors of both the traditional TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) program and the Student Support Services STEM (SSS STEM) program. As one of the first points of contact with the program and the Division of Academic Support of Inclusive Excellence, the Assistant must possess excellent communication skills and contribute to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment. Specific job responsibilities include budget and office management, program communication, data and record management, TRIO SSS website and social media management, and the support and implementation of program planning and activities. The position reports directly to the SSS and SSS STEM director. The two UW Oshkosh SSS programs serve 420 first-generation, limited-income students annually. SSS and SSS STEM are TRIO programs funded through grants with the U.S. Department of Education. During the academic year and summer months, evening hours and occasional weekend hours may be required to meet recruitment and retention initiatives of the TRIO SSS STEM program.
Program Coordinator Oshkosh Campus
The Office of International Education invites candidates to apply for the Project Coordinator position. In this role the coordinator will assist the director in planning and implementing short-term international group visits to the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.
Medical Assistant Oshkosh Campus
Seeking a highly motivated medical assistant to assist nurse practitioners and registered nurses in providing medical care to the student body at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Responsibilities include administrative, lab, and clinical tasks such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting providers with exams, performing appropriate lab collection and processing, and front-desk tasks. Commitment to a flexible work schedule which may include some evenings and/or weekends. Anticipated working hours include 7:45am-4:30pm Monday through Friday during the academic calendar with reduced hours during scheduled academic breaks and summer.
Admissions Director Oshkosh Campus
The Director of Admissions will serve students under a three-campus environment and will be responsible for development and support of a collaborative and well-connected undergraduate admissions unit that ensures an excellent student experience. As a divisional leader, the Director will contribute to continuous improvement processes including assessment and accreditation, and will deliver measurable outcomes via strategic partnerships outside the university with high schools, community organizations, and other entities, and within the university including, but not limited to, Student Outreach and Retention, Career & Professional Development, Financial Aid, Student Life, academic units and others. The Director will work on behalf of the Admissions team to develop and implement a comprehensive undergraduate admissions plan that aligns with UWO’s mission and actively increases both the inquiry pool and recruitment of prospective students. The Director will collaborate to develop and implement an identity plan to realize and achieve institutional visibility goals to address positioning, organizational branding, strategic communication, media visibility, constituency building, outreach and other goals and initiatives. The incumbent will advocate for and represent the University on a University of Wisconsin System-level to ensure progressive future direction, policy creation and change, and goal-setting surrounding recruiting.
Office of International Education (OIE)-Open Pool Instructor - 10/1/2022 - 9/30/2023 Oshkosh Campus
The Office of International Education (OIE) at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh periodically has openings for Program Instructors. In this role individuals will instruct a not-for-credit program to groups of international students visiting UWO.
Building and Grounds Supervisor Oshkosh Campus
Supervises building and grounds staff to meet the needs of the university, its employees, and visitors. Occasional weekend and evening work may be required. Must have a valid WI driver’s license and be authorized to drive a university vehicle upon appointment. This person will require a criminal background investigation.
Teaching Assistant Professor, Developmental Coordinator Oshkosh, Fox Cities, and Fond du Lac Campuses
The College of Letters & Science seeks an exceptional instructor for a Teaching Assistant Professor position in the college. This is an internal recruitment and is open to instructional academic staff from Department of Mathematics or Department of English and serves all three campuses. Reporting to the chairperson of their respective department within the College of Letters and Science, the teaching assistant professor designs and facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction within an academic discipline to ensure quality delivery of instruction and integration of content within an academic work unit. Provides for-credit instruction in formats such as classroom, online and/or laboratory settings, including grading. Serves as an instructor of record and engages in service activities at the level of a faculty member. This position also includes College-level service duties that include coordinating efforts of developmental curriculum offered across English, Math, and Reading & Study Skills across all three campuses to improve student retention and success.

Facilities Planning Assistant Director (B) Oshkosh, Fox Cities, and Fond du Lac Campuses
This position reports to the Chief Facilities Officer in Facilities Management. The Planning and Construction department, which is part of Facilities Management, is responsible for providing planning, design and construction services for 4.2 million GSF on the Oshkosh campus, Fox Cities and Fond du Lac campuses. This position is responsible for developing and directing the physical plant capital budget submissions to UW System Office of Capital Planning and Budget. It develops and manages the campus space use plan for all three UW Oshkosh campuses. It develops and manages the capital improvement plans with Winnebago, Outagamie and Fond du Lac counties. In addition, it supervises the Planning and Construction department personnel. In addition, the position oversees the development and maintenance of a sophisticated computer-aided design data base system which includes space inventory and management system for campus buildings. This position exercises considerable independent initiative and independent judgment in establishing daily priorities in activities, and makes decisions involving space management planning and design with upper level agency representatives typically without the director present. Work will typically be performed under general supervision. Physical requirements of the position are the ability to walk around campus, climb ladders, carry large sets of building plans, read a measuring tape, etc. A number of areas that this position will need to access are not fully accessible due to stairs, narrow doorways, equipment layout etc.

Human Resources Generalist Oshkosh Campus
Provides human resources (HR) support to a college and/or work unit in the areas of recruitment, payroll, benefits and employment relations. This position will ensure compliance and timely and accurate HR processing in addition to strategic support as a human resources business partner. This position may assist with campus and/or work unit operational policy development.
Facilities Technician II Fox Cities Campus
This position, which reports directly to the UWO Fox Cities Campus Facilities Manager, provides maintenance, repairs, and upkeep to the campus facilities and grounds. This position inspects, maintains, and adjusts and repairs to a wide variety of interior and exterior building components, furniture, and equipment, assist with mechanical maintenance and repair work, performs basic electrical and plumbing repairs, perform wood and concrete work, inspect, and maintain the campus grounds and grounds equipment, provide support for the operation of the campus, when required perform custodial and security functions. The position requires the ability to work alone as well as in cooperation with other workers. The work shift is Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:00 pm with some rotational work on Saturdays and Sundays as needed.
