Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator II in Oshkosh Campus
The Admissions Advisor at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh plays a pivotal role in undergraduate recruitment. This position is responsible for executing strategic outreach initiatives designed to attract, engage, and enroll a talented student body that reflects the breadth of perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds found across Wisconsin and beyond. Advisors are expected to actively foster access and opportunity for all students, including those from historically underserved or underrepresented communities. The Advisor will build relationships with prospective students and their families, represent UW Oshkosh at events on and off campus, and support institutional enrollment goals through personalized counseling, data-informed outreach, and collaborative planning.

Administrative Specialist in Oshkosh Campus
Reporting to the Divisional Business Officer of Academic Affairs, the Unit Business Officer serves at the college or administrative unit level. The position completes a variety of financial management, budget development, and human resources functions for the college or unit. The position works closely with the Dean in service to the college to support strategic initiatives and provide routine financial analyses and budget status reports. This position will be assigned to the College of Nursing, Health Professions, and STEM. Unit Business Officers, while reporting through Finance & Administration, are integral embedded members of their assigned college/unit. Hybrid remote work may be available after the successful completion of the initial training period. Please note that the remote work policy is subject to change at the discretion of the department or university. Universities of Wisconsin also offers an extremely competitive benefits package that includes: • Health plans, currently starting at $42 per month. • Vacation starting at 176 hours per year (prorated for start date). • 36 hours of personal holiday, and 9 legal holidays (prorated for start date). • 176 Hours of sick leave for first 18 months. After this period, employees can earn up to 96 hours per fiscal year. Accumulates without limit and does not expire. • Paid parental leave after six months of continuous employment. • Wisconsin Retirement System (pension) with 6.95% employer contribution for 2025. Lab Manager in Oshkosh Campus
The Department of Biology is looking for a collegial and organized Lab Manager for a full-time, 9-month appointment to support teaching and research. This role involves coordinating microbiology lab setups, supervising autoclave use, preparing media, maintaining bacterial cultures, and caring for departmental collections like greenhouse plants, body donors and specimen collections (e.g., mammals, birds, and herbariums). We’re seeking someone with a bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field, or with equivalent experience. Prior lab experience, especially in microbiology, is a plus. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit are key to thriving in this position. You’ll work closely with graduate students and faculty to keep labs running smoothly and support a positive educational experience.
