PreCollege Position Summary: 

Teach students grade 6-12 in the PreCollege program various subjects.  

Responsible for preparing and implementing a teaching plan for middle and/or high school students. Provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills. 

The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust. They will know how to organize a class and make learning an easy and meaningful process. 

The goal is to help cultivate the students’ interest in higher education. 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Bachelor's degree 

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office 

  • Teaching experience 

  • Experience in diverse environments 

  • A passion for working with underrepresented and disadvantaged students 

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • 2 or more years of teaching experience 

  • Master's degree 

  • Trained in areas Cultural Competency/Sensitivity
