Position Summary: |
The UWO Counseling Center has an opportunity to join a talented, supportive, and fun counseling team in serving our amazing Titan students. Our counselors provide individual and group counseling, wellness and psychoeducational services, crisis and case management, consultation, outreach, and training. Working in a college setting with students who are open and invested in their wellness is one of the best mental health work environments. We are committed to supporting the overall wellness of every student in an inclusive, positive and caring way. Please note this is a 0.9 FTE position which allows for decreased hours when classes are not in session. For example, the Counseling Center may be open Monday through Thursday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm during weeks of break (compared to typical operating hours of Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm).

Responsibilities |
Provides professional mental health counseling and consultation services for the campus community, incorporates a brief therapeutic model to address the emotional and behavioral needs of students, creates developmental programming to increase healthy lifestyle and coping behaviors across campus, and advocates for strategic university mental health policy and initiatives.
