Position Summary: |
The Criminal Justice program at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2025. While research specialization is open, candidates with a particular interest and ability to teach courses in at least two of the following areas are required: “criminal law” or “crime scene documentation and forensics” or “juvenile delinquency and juvenile justice.” A demonstrated ability to teach courses both on-campus and online (asynchronous) is desirable. Criminal Justice offers both an on-campus and online major. Additionally, the ability to teach courses involving historically marginalized members of society in relation to criminal justice, as well as develop and teach upper-division courses in the candidate’s area of expertise, is desired. An emphasis in teaching excellence is the hallmark of all Universities of Wisconsin campuses.
