This tenure track position in the biology program, one of the largest and fastest growing programs on campus, offers an excellent balance between teaching, research, service, and excellent opportunities for personal and professional growth. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can teach courses in cell biology, molecular biology, genetics and introductory biology as well as an elective course in their area of expertise (e.g., cell signaling, development, molecular evolution). This individual will play a key role in helping us serve our large and growing population of pre-health and general biology students. We are looking for an individual who has a background in cell and molecular biology and/or its applications in any kind of genetics who will complement the expertise we already have among our faculty, and who is collaborative and collegial. In addition, we are looking for someone who will develop a research program, advise students, involve both undergraduate and graduate students in research, and participate in the governance of the department.
