The Competitive Sports Coordinator position provides comprehensive competitive sports program management for UWO Fond du Lac, Fox Cities, and Oshkosh Campuses.
Residence Hall Director Oshkosh Campus
The Residence Hall Director (RHD) is responsible for the welfare and development of students in the residence hall. The primary goal is the development of residential communities supportive of personal growth, academic achievement and respect for the rights of others. The RHD strives to foster individual and community development by means of: individual and group advising, staff supervision and training, appropriate role modeling, performance of administrative functions and participation as a fully functioning member of the professional Residence Life Staff Team.
HR Generalist Oshkosh Campus
Provides human resources (HR) support to an college and/or work unit in the areas of recruitment, payroll, benefits and employment relations. This position will ensure compliance and timely and accurate HR processing in addition to strategic support as a human resources business partner. This position may assist with campus and/or work unit operational policy development.
Assistant Professor of Sociology Oshkosh Campus
The Department of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seeks a tenure-track assistant professor to start September 1, 2022. Specialization is open but health and illness; gender; race/ethnicity; criminology; and/or environmental sociology are preferred areas. The successful candidate will have demonstrated effectiveness in university-level instruction and ability to teach our required (classical and contemporary) sociological theory course, introductory classes, and upper level courses in their area of expertise. They will also exhibit a commitment to and the potential for scholarly productivity and public sociology; interdisciplinary collaboration; service provision and enhancement of diversity, inclusion, and equity in the department, campus, and community. Responsibilities will also include developing and maintaining an active research program, advising and mentoring students, and engaging in appropriate service activities. A regional, comprehensive university committed to the teacher-scholar model, UW Oshkosh is part of the venerable University of Wisconsin System and has a total enrollment of over 10,000 students. Sociology is housed in the College of Letters & Science, the largest of UW Oshkosh’s four colleges. Located in the state’s third most populous metropolitan area, comprised of a number of mid-sized cities along the Fox River and the state’s largest inland lake, Oshkosh offers a nice combination of amenities and relatively low cost living and is also within driving distance of Milwaukee and Madison, Chicago, and Minneapolis-St. Paul.
Apple System Administrator Oshkosh Campus
Designs, implements, and maintains infrastructure and/or moderately complex technical integrations across multiple systems, including in-house systems, acquired commercial, and external such as cloud hosted. Provides day-to-day maintenance and long term assistance to ensure subsystems and infrastructure function together and business needs are met.
AV Technician Fond du Lac Campus
Designs, installs, and implements large, highly complex, and non-routine audio-visual (AV) hardware, software, and associated classroom technologies. Leads the preparation of classroom facilities with proper technology equipment to ensure proper functionality and security according to business needs.
Marching Band Program Assistant Oshkosh Campus
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is seeking candidates for an Athletic Bands Program Assistant. This administrative assistant will coordinate a variety of functions for the Titan Thunder Marching Band and Athletic Bands, and offer additional program support as needed within the Department of Music. This position is characterized by a variety of business, fiscal and administrative duties such as budget management, customer service, event planning, and logistics. such as game day and rehearsal operations and travel. Working closely with the Director of Athletic Bands, the successful candidate will help to facilitate the multiple aspects of running a successful university marching band/athletic band program. coordinating and providing support in a fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere.
Assistant Professor of Political Science Oshkosh and Fox Cities Campuses
The Department of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level with a specialty in public policy (open subfield) to begin in Fall 2022. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in teaching and be prepared to teach introductory courses in multiple subfields at the Fox Cities campus (the position’s home campus) and upper-division public policy courses and policy analysis at the Oshkosh campus. Other responsibilities include advising students, professional research, and service.
Electrician Oshkosh Campus
The journey-level Electrician position provides electrical service to the entire University community – repair, preventive maintenance and modification to existing fixtures and systems; installation of new equipment and systems; outside lighting and high voltage work. Must be a licensed journey-level Electrician by the State of Wisconsin. Must have a valid WI driver’s license and be authorized to drive a University vehicle, upon appointment. Must pass a pre-work screen to ensure the ability to perform essential physical functions of the position. A criminal background check will be required. This position will function as a member of the Facilities Management Maintenance team (plumbers, steamfitters, electricians, HVAC mechanics, and facilities maintenance specialists), providing customer service and relations to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh community. Employees are expected to be flexible in the performance of their job functions and to communicate openly with supervisors and co-workers, other departments and University staff. This position may occasionally be asked to work hours in excess of the normal shift (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday – Friday) and after-hour call-ins.
Admissions Counselor - Latinx/Hispanic Community Liaison Oshkosh Campus
The Admissions Counselor - Latinx/Hispanic Community Liaison will be a member of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh undergraduate recruitment and enrollment team in the Admissions Office. The counselor will serve as a University ambassador and liaison with prospective students, parents/families, high school staff and other community members throughout the state and region. A focus of this position is the recruitment, enrollment and support of Latinx/Hispanic students.
Pre-school Teacher Fox Cities Campus
The preschool teacher plans and carries out a daily program designed to meet the physical and developmental needs of the children between the ages two and a half and six years in the University Children's Center. This position is a 0.75 FTE academic staff employee and is an academic year (9 month duration from September-beginning of June) appointment with optional employment during the summer months.
Assistant/Associate Professor of Teaching & Learning (Elementary and Middle School Education focus) Oshkosh Campus
The Department of Teaching and Learning at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seeks a tenure-track faculty member at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. The person selected for this position will teach undergraduate courses in our teacher education programs on campus. They may also teach graduate courses in our online MSE program. In addition, this person is expected to maintain an active program of scholarly research and publication and provide service to the department, college, university, PK-8 community, and the profession. This position is a 9-month academic year appointment with a teaching load of 12 credits per semester. The primary responsibility for this position will be in developing and teaching undergraduate courses focused on best practices in pedagogy. For this reason, a minimum of 3 years of experience in classroom teaching (PK-8) required. Our ideal candidate will have an interest in teacher preparation, dispositions, beliefs, and professional development. In addition, there is a preference for expertise and/or research agenda in elementary and middle school education, although other areas may also be considered. Additional teaching responsibilities may involve developing and teaching courses in the candidate’s area of expertise.
Admissions Counselor - African American/Black Community Liaison Oshkosh Campus
The Admissions Counselor - African American/Black Community Liaison will be a member of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh undergraduate recruitment and enrollment team in the Admissions Office. Academic Program Specialist Oshkosh Campus
The Academic Program Specialist in the College of Education and Human Services at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is responsible for supporting teacher candidates and faculty within our undergraduate teacher education and Human Services programs. The Academic Program Specialist works under the supervision of the Associate Dean -Professional Education Program. Duties range from recruitment activities to the admissions process to tasks associated with field experiences and meeting licensure requirements. Standard working hours are: 7:45 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Some evening hours are required to support students and for recruitment or other student events.
Access Campus Math Tutoring Coordinator Fox Cities and Fond du Lac Campuses
The Math Tutoring Coordinator is directly responsible for managing all operations, workshops, promotions, budget, assessment and reporting activities of both the Math Lab (which serves students in credit-bearing math courses) and Developmental Math Lab at both UW-Oshkosh Fox Cities and Fond du Lac campuses. This position includes overseeing the development, implementation, and improvement of the math tutoring services program that assists and empowers students with homework completion, problem solving, and test preparation; and supervising student tutors.
Director of Advising and Recruitment Oshkosh Campus
The Director of OCE Advising will supervise the advising/recruitment team for OCE. This position will set policy; maintain consistency of advising and recruitment practices; allocate responsibilities to OCE advisors/recruiters; ensure best practices and collaboration within the department and division; and encourage professional development of all. The director will also work closely with the rest of the division leadership team to ensure a cohesive division. The position will analyze the impact of existing enrollment initiatives, develop new enrollment metrics, identify and quantify opportunities for growth, and help increase and shape enrollments. The director will use data, analysis, and consultation that guide strategic and operational decision making. The director helps to investigate the education needs of business and industry. This position will work with the Assitant Vice Chancellor and other directors to guide the new program development process from initial idea development and market analysis to development and launch of the new program. The director will work collaboratively with University Marketing and Communications (UMC) to analyze marketing data to make informed decisions that will increase program recruitment and enrollment. The incumbent will also oversee the administration of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems used in the division.

In addition, this role will provide administrative support in all functional areas of human resources, such as recruitment, classification, payroll, and benefits. The incumbent will be a resource to the university community and will be a primary contact for disseminating information on human resource policies, procedures, and regulations. This position will be required to work on campus during the normal business hours of 7:45am – 4:30pm.
