- Runs the STN Testing Area, including adhering to standards provided regarding policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of test security, use critical thinking and decision-making skills, preparing the center and candidates for testing, judiciously monitoring the testing room, troubleshooting problems with software or hardware, and performing close of day administrations. This requires becoming certified with multiple vendors to become a proctor. Certification will be done during business hours and is paid.
- Performs administrative functions related to STN administration, including monitoring and ordering inventories of materials from STN, tracking, recording and reporting STN data each month, submits annual report, retains or destroys documents per policy, updates Policies, Procedures and Practices manual as changes occur, communicates changes in a timely manner to office staff, communicates to ETS as the office liaison, keeps certification current, and performs public relations and marketing of STN as needed.
- Assists other office staff as needed, including becoming trained to back up other areas in the event of vacations or emergencies, attends and participates in staff meetings, participates in professional development as needed.
- Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit.
- Serves as a first point of contact for individuals and groups, provides basic organizational information via phone, in person and through other communication mediums and routes more complex inquires to the appropriate entities.
- Collects, analyzes, and prepares various communication materials from established sources utilizing technology mediums.
- Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures under general supervision.
- Maintains established methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures.
