Position Summary:

Provides administrative support for the Cooperative Academic Partnership Program (CAPP) at UW Oshkosh in support of unit goals, under general supervision. Working independently and in collaboration with administrators and other support staff, this position performs various responsibilities in support of the daily operation of CAPP. CAPP is the largest concurrent enrollment program in the state of Wisconsin and collaborates with participating high schools to provide academically capable students an opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. This position is located in the COLS Dean's Office on the Oshkosh campus

Responsibilities
  • Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations
  • Serves as a first point of contact for individuals and groups, provides basic organizational information via phone, in person and through other communication mediums, and routes more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities
  • Collects, analyzes, and prepares various communication materials from established sources utilizing technology mediums
  • Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures under general supervision
  • Maintains established methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures
  • Conducts, maintains, and reconciles department purchasing and financials
Qualifications  
Required:

Proficiency in various computer applications. This may include Windows operating system, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Google Apps, and web tools.

Excellent written, oral and overall interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of a wide variety of administrative support tasks, which may include purchasing, budget tracking, reporting, and policy adherence.

Ability to work in a team-oriented, professional environment. 

Ability to learn and apply new software applications and/or processes to optimize efficiency.

Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks in support of the department.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and balance a variety of tasks and projects with a strong attention to detail.

Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Preferred:

Post-secondary degree (bachelor's or associate's) or comparable experience.

Experience with higher education.

General knowledge of concurrent enrollment programs, UW Oshkosh CAP Program, and/or NACEP accreditation.
