-Work with instructors in developing appropriate and effective outcomes, content, activities, and assessment strategies for online courses
-Work with instructors and University departments in producing content in multiple formats and for multiple delivery platforms.
-Develop, implement and maintain a consistent user experience for courses in the digital learning environment.
20% Research and develop teaching and learning education
-Research emerging and innovative techniques and tools for integration into instruction.
-Work with IT and other campus staff to identify applications and strategies that can be applied to instruction.
-Support faculty and instructors in identifying and applying appropriate tools and techniques into their curriculum.
-Keep a current knowledge of trends in online learning and best practices in instructional design.
20% Divisional and Institutional Collaboration
-Work with other campus departments to establish and maintain consistent teaching and learning standards and messaging across the institution.
-Conduct faculty workshops in such areas as educational theories, educational technology, distance learning strategies, asynchronous distance learning, and student support mechanisms.
-Work with the Provost’s office and colleges to develop and implement course development and evaluation policies and practices as they relate to online education.
