Research emerging and innovative techniques and tools for integration into instruction.
Work with IT and other campus staff to identify applications and strategies that can be applied to instruction.
Support faculty and instructors in identifying and applying appropriate tools and techniques into their curriculum.
Keep a current knowledge of trends in online learning and best practices in instructional design. Essential
20% Divisional and Institutional Collaboration
Work with other campus departments to establish and maintain consistent teaching and learning standards and messaging across the institution.
Conduct faculty workshops in such areas as educational theories, educational technology, distance learning strategies, asynchronous distance learning, and student support mechanisms.
Work with the Provost’s office and colleges to develop and implement course development and evaluation policies and practices as they relate to online education.
