Position Summary: Working closely with and reporting directly to the UW Oshkosh Fox Cities' Director of Theatre, the Technical Theatre Manager is proficient in stagecraft, lighting, sound, rigging, design, etc., and plans and carries out the effective stage implementation of UWO Fox Cities theatre events and provides technical resources to users of the theatres and equipment.
This position is located at UWO Fox Cities’ campus. Day, evening and weekend hours, based on theatre events, are expected.
Responsibilities

The Technical Theatre Manager is responsible for the supervision and performance of all technical aspects of the Department of Theatre’s events, other campus events, and selected external onsite events.

The Technical Theatre Manager is responsible for design work and equipment operations.

The Technical Theatre Manager is responsible for facility and equipment management.

The Technical Theatre Manager is responsible for the overall safety, security and other related operations/ needs of the UWO Fox Theatre.

The Technical Theatre Manager provides budgetary administrative and other related programmatic support duties.

Qualifications  
Required:

■ Experience in all aspects of theatre stage handling and management including, but not limited to, stage/set design and construction along with light and sound handling and equipment experience
■ Effective specialized training and/or experience in design and graphic soft ware, to meet the set designing expectations of this position
