Custodial Services Supervisor Oshkosh Campus
Reporting to the Custodial Superintendent, this individual will provide supervision and leadership to the custodial team at UW Oshkosh. The Custodial Services Department is comprised of a diverse staff, consisting of Lead Custodians, Permanent and Limited Term Custodians, and University student employees. The daily duties of this position include assigning tasks, assessing staffing levels, assessing work performance, inspecting buildings for quality of cleaning and supply/equipment needs, inventory control, equipment and material distribution, maintaining accurate records and enforcing workplace health and safety. This position is an important part of the Facilities Management team, and will occasionally fill in for other supervisors within the Facilities Management Department in their absence. This individual must have a high energy level, excellent oral and written communication skills, must maintain a positive attitude in dealing with the needs of the many campus faculty, students, and staff. Normal work days are Monday - Friday, 4pm to 12am. Occasional weekend and evening work may be required. This person must have a valid WI driver's license and be authorized to drive a University vehicle upon appointment. A criminal background investigation is required. Must pass a pre-work screen to ensure the ability to perform essential physical functions of the position.
Project Coordinator Oshkosh, Fox Cities, and Fond Du Lac Campuses
This new position will have primary responsibility for the day-to-day activities necessary to execute the recently awarded three-year Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) Grant to reduce sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking on campus. Activities encompassed by this grant include establishing a Community Coordinated Response Team (CCRT), facilitating trauma-informed care trainings, and developing a bystander intervention program for local alcohol-serving establishments. This position will report to the Assistant Director of Health Promotion in Student Recreation and Wellness. Work Schedule: The OVW Project Coordinator will work 30 hours per week; schedule may vary depending on when trainings are scheduled.
Manager of Services for Postal, Document and Receiving/Delivery Oshkosh Campus
The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing the University’s campus mailing operations, digital document reprographics, and University receiving and delivery. This includes the overall management and supervision of 4 permanent employees and multiple students working approximately 840 hours per semester. The incumbent is also responsible for budget preparation, monitoring and billing of over $140,000 in services annually, including the processing of over 720,000 pieces of mail, 13,000 packages and 4,000,000 document impressions per year with chargebacks to over 1000 departmental accounts. Additionally, the incumbent manages the campus-wide provision of such services as inserting ink-jet addressing, facsimiles, United States Postal Service (USPS) overnight mail delivery, United Parcel Service (UPS) delivery, address database cleanup, document finishing, and document delivery. The incumbent is responsible for all Postal Document Services, and University receiving and delivery daily functions, including policy, budgeting and purchasing of equipment and supplies. The incumbent monitors and enforces compliance campus-wide with all Federal postal rules and regulations relating to University mailing activities. The incumbent in this position reports directly to the Associate Vice Chancellor of the Office of Finance and Administration, and works Monday through Friday, generally 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., throughout the year.
Facilities Repair Worker Fox Cities Campus
This position is responsible for interior and exterior building and equipment maintenance, roof maintenance, welding, metal work and fabrication. Must have or be able to obtain a valid WI driver’s license and be authorized to drive a University vehicle upon appointment. This position will function as a member of the Facilities Management Maintenance team, providing customer service and relations to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh community. Employees are expected to be flexible in the performance of their job functions and to communicate openly with supervisors and co-workers, other departments and University staff. This position may occasionally be asked to work hours in excess of the normal shift (6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday – Friday) on nights, weekends. This position will require a criminal background investigation. Must pass a pre-work screen to ensure the ability to perform essential physical functions of the position.
Assistant Professor of Anthropology Oshkosh Campus
The Department of Anthropology, Global Religions, and Cultures at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in archaeology beginning in September 2020. The position is open in terms of research specialization within archaeology, however, preference will be given to applicants that complement the existing strengths of the department. In terms of teaching, the responsibilities of the position include teaching a variety of introductory and advanced courses in anthropology and archaeology, including general education courses. The position includes the expectation of the regular offering of an archaeological field school and maintenance and use of our archaeological collection. Depending on the area of expertise, the successful candidate may contribute to interdisciplinary programs such as Environmental Studies, Women's and Gender Studies, as well as UW Oshkosh's ethnic studies and global citizenship/scholar initiatives.
Key Office Operations Associate Oshkosh Campus
Provide program assistance and administrative support for the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Key and Card Access Control Systems. Position requires confidentiality regarding employee information and key/lock security. The following tasks are performed under general supervision, requiring independent decision-making. Hours of work: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with some flexibility for Facilities Management office hours coverage.
Executive Director, Division of Online and Continuing Education Oshkosh Campus
This position reports directly to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and plays an important role in the growth of the institution and its educational outreach. The Executive Director is primarily responsible for providing leadership for developing the university’s strategy and goals for serving adult nontraditional students.
Device Support Account Manager Oshkosh Campus
Working in Information Technology, the IT Account Manager (“account manager”) assures delivery of support services while working under the general guidance of an IT director or team manager. In fulfillment of this role, this individual works closely with assigned units, developing service delivery requirements and service level agreements. The account manager documents customer systems and requirements, trains personnel to appropriately support and deliver services according to service level agreements, monitors and reports on execution and constituent satisfaction, maintaining close contact with the unit and the support staff to do so. The account manager independently resolves complex problems as needed and works closely with team managers and directors on planning and personnel management.
Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy Oshkosh Campus
The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seeks a tenure-track faculty member at the assistant level. Additionally, this position serves as a recruiter and pre-advisor for students seeking information about, or admission to, OCE online degree programs. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of non-traditional and adult student experiences, and be able to acknowledge the unique set of obstacles these students face. Assistant/Associate Professor of Human Services Leadership Oshkosh Campus

Director of Hmong Studies Oshkosh Campus

Associate Dean for Access Campuses (INTERNAL SEARCH) Fox Cities and Fond Du Lac Campuses
The position of Associate Dean for Access Campuses in the College of Letters and Science will assist the Dean in providing leadership and guidance for College-based programs on the two access campuses, Fond du Lac and Fox Cities. The associate dean will hold a nine-month limited term appointment in the Dean's Office while maintaining a concurrent tenured faculty assignment in a home department. The position includes summer support. The associate dean will generally teach one class per semester. The associate dean will provide a liaison between the Dean's Office and faculty, staff, and governance on the access campuses, and serve as a member of the Access Campus Leadership Team. Along with the three divisional associate deans, the associate dean will assist in making recommendations concerning staffing, personnel decisions, strategic planning and program development. The associate dean will maintain a home on one of the two access campuses and travel as needed to the other two UW Oshkosh campuses.
