Custodian Lead Oshkosh Campus
The Custodian Lead reports to the Custodial Services Supervisor and is responsible for guiding custodial staff (permanent, temporary and student) in the performance of cleaning services, in addition to performing regular cleaning tasks. The incumbent must have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills when working with students, custodians, staff and supervisors; be physically able to perform custodial duties according to department standards; have the ability to assign and review work; have the ability to operate custodial cleaning equipment according to instructions; and follow all safety rules and report safety violations to a supervisor. The employee may come in contact with blood-borne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials. Must have a valid WI driver’s license and be authorized to drive a University vehicle upon appointment; will drive a university fleet vehicle (van, passenger van or box truck) to deliver equipment and supplies; must successfully complete a pre-work screen to ensure the ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Hours of work are Sunday-Thursday 10pm to 6am and every other weekend

Assistant Professor of Kinesiology/Athletic Training Oshkosh Campus
The Department of Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is accepting applications for a tenure-track faculty position that will be split between the Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) professional program and the Department of Kinesiology. The candidate will be expected to teach graduate level Athletic Training courses within their area of contemporary expertise and undergraduate courses in the Kinesiology majors, primarily in prerequisite courses. They will also assist the MSAT faculty in recruiting efforts and administrative decisions for the program. In addition, the successful candidate will develop and maintain an active research program, advise and mentor students, and contribute to service responsibilities.
Graduate Admissions and Records Administrative Assistant Oshkosh Campus
The Graduate Admissions and Records Administrative Assistant reports to the Director of Graduate Studies and works closely with the Records and Admissions Coordinator as well as the Graduate Admissions and Operations Specialist. This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Office of Graduate Studies. Duties range from processing applications to providing information to applicants to answering phones to processing forms at all levels of the graduate students’ journey. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, provide exceptional customer service, have an attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills.
Maintenance Mechanic Oshkosh Campus
This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of University buildings, HVAC equipment and cooling towers. Additional duties include maintenance of swimming pool, food service equipment, and laundry equipment. Must have or be able to obtain a valid WI driver’s license and be authorized to drive a University vehicle, upon appointment. This position will function as a member of the Facilities Management Maintenance team (plumbers, steamfitters, electricians, HVAC mechanics, and facilities maintenance specialists) providing customer service and relations to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh community. Employees are expected to be flexible in the performance of their job functions and to communicate openly with supervisors and co-workers, other departments, and University staff. This position may occasionally be asked to work hours in excess of the normal shift (7:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday) and after-hour call-ins. Must pass a pre-work screen to ensure the ability to perform essential physical functions of the position.
Application Administrator Oshkosh, Fox Cities, and Fond du Lac Campuses
The department of Information Technology is now accepting applications for an IT Business Analyst / Applications Administrator! Reporting to the CRM manager, the business analyst recommends, designs, implements, troubleshoots, and maintains information systems and processes to support student enrollment and retention. This position will be permitted to work remotely if desired, with occasional meetings on the UW Oshkosh, Fox Cities, and Fond du Lac campuses.
Police Sergeant Oshkosh Campus
This position is responsible for all aspects involved in the supervision of patrol officers. The Police Sergeant conducts daily briefings, schedules work, participates in and oversees the activities of officers, organizes employee training, trains and evaluates police officers, creates schedules and approves payroll for employees, and oversees the overall operations of the Community Service Officer (student employee) Program. The Police Sergeant must frequently perform the same tasks as subordinates. During the University’s non-business hours, the Police Sergeant is often the highest ranking law enforcement official on campus and is expected to make most decisions without consulting a higher authority. This position is under the general supervision of a Police Lieutenant.
Instructional Design Consultant Oshkosh Campus
The Instructional Designer works closely with faculty and instructional academic staff to assist with the development of courses, incorporating appropriate learning technologies and techniques, for both on-line and on-site programs including participating in all aspects of instructor development including support in course design, creation and application of multi-media elements, new and seasoned instructor trainings and coaching, quality course evaluation through the application of a quality assurance rubric, and will be involved in online course development training for all instructional staff. Additionally, this position interacts with the learning management system administrator. The position is integral to the instructional design and technology support team and reports to the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Online and Continuing Education (OCE). The Instructional Design Consultant provides a full range of learning design services in collaboration with faculty, Information Teachnology Services (ITS), and other instructional designers within UW Oshkosh in the following areas: preparing courses for the Canvas, researching and developing innovations to the online learning for faculty, and enhancing the competency of faculty and students in using online learning technologies. Additionally, the Instructional Design Consultant will work with faculty providing consultation, training, and support for adoption and use of technology to support the University's curriculum and academic delivery, both in the classroom and the online/hybrid environment.
AVCEM & Student Affairs Administrative Assistant Oshkosh Campus
Reporting to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management, this position, under limited supervision, provides program and administrative services to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management, and other staff in the Office of Student Affairs performing a combination of complex professional and supervisory duties. Position serves as a liaison with internal stakeholders as well as other institutions of higher education, federal agencies and government, local units of government, and the general public to obtain, provide, or exchange complex information. Position has responsibility of administrative support procedures and policies. The AVCEM & Student Affairs Administrative Assistant performs a series of key project and administrative tasks under the immediate direction of the executive staff and oversees the work of 2-4 student employees. In this capacity, the incumbent must exercise a significant degree of independence and latitude for decision-making. This incumbent works under minimal supervision and develops their work schedule in conjunction with the executive staff to meet program requirements. In all areas of responsibility, the position provides the incumbent the ability to independently organize and prioritize work of considerable difficulty, meet multiple and concurrent deadlines; pay close attention to details; quickly adjust to and independently resolve problems. The individual in this position must provide exceptional customer service and balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment that values student growth and development. The individual in this position must also be prepared to assist students in times of crisis or with sensitive concerns.
Assistant Professor of Radio TV Film - Digital Cinema Production Oshkosh Campus
The award-winning Department of Radio TV Film at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is accepting applications for a tenure-track faculty position to begin September 1, 2022. This is a full-time position for an active filmmaker who will teach introductory and advanced courses in screenwriting and media production. The ideal candidate must be student-oriented and have expertise in single camera digital cinema production including project development, script writing and directing. The candidate will need to show potential for conducting industry-related creative activity, in addition to the position’s teaching and service responsibilities.
Assistant/Associate Professor of Teaching & Learning (Mathematics Education) Oshkosh Campus

Assistant Professor for Environmental Studies Oshkosh Campus
The Environmental Studies Program and Department of Geography at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invite applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position with a research and teaching focus on soil science and resource management. Development Specialist Oshkosh Campus
The Development Specialist plays a key role in securing significant financial resources and gifts that enable the University to accomplish its mission and achieve its goals. This position is responsible for executing all major and planned giving efforts for their assigned college by annually managing a portfolio of 125 to 200 major and planned giving prospects. Additionally, this position assists in the implementation of University-wide fundraising campaigns and reports directly to the Director of Advancement. This position is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding gifts to benefit UWO and will serve as the main liaison to one of the four academic colleges.
Assistant Professor of Biology Oshkosh Campus
The Department of Biology at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for an Assistant Professor position beginning September 2022. This tenure-track faculty position will be split between Medical Technology and Biology and will involve teaching courses in Medical Bacteriology and Medical Mycology for Medical Technology, and undergraduate and graduate courses in Biology. Assistant Professor of Sociology Oshkosh Campus
The Department of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seeks a tenure-track assistant professor to start September 1, 2022. Specialization is open but health and illness; gender; race/ethnicity; criminology; and/or environmental sociology are preferred areas. The successful candidate will have demonstrated effectiveness in university-level instruction and ability to teach our required (classical and contemporary) sociological theory course, introductory classes, and upper level courses in their area of expertise. They will also exhibit a commitment to and the potential for scholarly productivity and public sociology; interdisciplinary collaboration; service provision and enhancement of diversity, inclusion, and equity in the department, campus, and community.
