Position Summary:

This position is required to implement the procedures and activities for families and communities as detailed in the Head Start program performance standards. Particular attention to meeting the standards for eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment and attendance (ERSEA), Health, and Family Partnerships/ Community Partnerships.


A.  Implement, facilitate, and document a program for parents and families focusing on the Family and Community Partnership Performance Standards.

B. Work cooperatively with all, but specifically ERSEA staff to ensure program goals are met.

C. Work cooperatively with all, but specifically Health staff to ensure program goals are met.

  1. Minimum of AA in Social Work, Human Services or related field

  2. Experience working with young children and their family

  3. Valid State of Wisconsin driver’s license

  1. Preferred BS in Social Work, Human Services or related field

  2. Experience and knowledge of UW Oshkosh Head Start, Family Service Credential and general Head Start experience.

  3. Familiarity with ethnic background and heritage of families in the program.  Awareness of and sensitivity to cultural issues and local community practices

  4. Skills and knowledge to access appropriate community resources;

  5. Experience using Child Plus data system.
